Barack Obama has rightly pointed out over the last couple of days that injecting Presidential politics into delicate negotiations over the current financial crisis is not the way to go. If the course of yesterday's events is any indication, the Senator from Illinois was spot-on. The two Presidential candidates would serve the American people far better, according to Sen. Obama, if they debated these and other issues openly in the Presidential debate scheduled for tonight.
Sen. Obama seems to know when it's the right time to talk. I, for one, really appreciate that kind of sound reasoning, and good judgment, in a leader.
