I watched the debate this evening and thought that my head would explode when McCain starting talking about his plans for health care! A $5,000 tax credit? Is he kidding? Last year my COBRA cost $1,601 a month for myself and my children. What exactly is a $5,000 tax credit supposed to do for me?

Did anyone else catch McCain's description of the "gold plated Cadillac" insurance plans? He referenced people who wanted their plastic surgery covered by insurance in the same sentence as those seeking organ transplants.
